Finance Administrator

Required from: 1 September 2024

Salary: JG4 (SCP 7-11)

Hours: 21 per week (Mon-Weds 8am-4pm, but could be flexible)

Actual Salary: £12,111.17 - £12,951.18 pa

Yatton Schools are part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership (Multi-Academy Trust). We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to work flexibly as part of our business support team. The post will have both financial and administrative duties.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a friendly, welcoming outlook and effective communication skills.
  • Have good GCSE results (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Ideally have experience working in education and finance.
  • Be able to work well in a team and under their own initiative.
  • Be able to work to confidently under pressure to deadlines.
  • Understand the need for confidentiality.
  • Ideally have SIMS experience and a good knowledge of Office.
  • Ideally have experience using PS Finance, ParentPay or another online payment system.
