Hours: 25 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 14 days in school holidays

The Role

Lighthouse Schools Partnership is a Multi-Academy Trust. There are currently 34 schools in the Trust with further schools joining in the future.

The Trust is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is a mixed MAT and includes both non-denominational and Church of England schools.

We are seeking to appoint a replacement Finance Assistant in our Central Finance Team following an internal promotion.

The postholder will work as a part of a small team administering the finances of the Trust and supporting schools with their financial administration. The team work closely with other parts of the Central Team such as the Schools Finance Support Team, the Trust Services Team, and the Estates Team. The postholder will help support the Trust’s vision, values and priorities.

The postholder will be based in the Central Team office, currently at Gordano School in Portishead but may be required to make occasional visits to school sites.

The Finance Assistant role is responsible for undertaking a range of administrative and financial duties that support the organisation and the schools in a positive and effective way whilst adhering to the Trust financial policies and procedures.

The post provides a high quality and timely support service to Board of Trustees, the Central Team, school leaders and other staff focusing on transactional financial processing and procedures.
