The Role
Since Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) was started in 2016 we have experienced rapid growth. We currently number 33 schools and have nearly 13,000 pupils in our schools and 1,700 employees. We will continue to grow with more schools in Bristol expected to join in the coming years.
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Trust is a mixed MAT and includes both non-denominational and Church of England schools. You can find more information here.
This is an important role for us and the person appointed will play a key part in the effective operation of the Trust and the Central Team. This is a permanent, full time position which will provide additional support to our schools and the central function.
This post will report to our Director of Human Resources and be an integral part of our Central Team, providing high quality HR advice and operational support across the Trust. We are looking for someone who can work well as part of that team as well as being an innovative ’self-starter’. We set and expect high standards in all that we do.
We need someone who has a Level 5 CIPD Diploma with generalist HR knowledge, and 4 years recent operational experience, ideally within the education sector.
You will have experience in leading on HR projects, complex casework and change management. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, and eye for detail and to work collaboratively as a member of the Central Team and across the Trust. We also need someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive and 'get involved’ attitude.
