Learning Support Assistant

Hours: 19.5 hours per week (Monday – Thursday)

Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2026 with the possibility of extension due to staffing review

Salary: Grade JG4 SCP 7-11 £25,584 - £27,269 per annum

Actual Salary: £11,843.25 - £12,623.26

Start Date: 1 September 2025

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to be part of a friendly, talented team who are dedicated to improving outcomes for children in a school with a friendly and supportive ethos.

We are able to offer you the opportunity to work with an exciting and enthusiastic school of children as well as a staff team who are both supportive and eager for challenge, determined to raise our children’s outcomes on every level.

 

We are looking for:

  • A proactive team player who shows initiative both in the classroom that they work in and around the whole school site
  • Someone with experience of working with children in an educational setting
  • Someone who demonstrates a commitment to the school’s vision, aims and ethos, its community and outcomes for its pupils
