School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA)  

Hours: 7.5 per week (working Monday – Friday across lunchtime)  

Contract: Permanent  

Salary: JG1C SCP3 £24,796.00 per annum  

Actual Salary: £4,318.40.00 

Start Date: 01 September 2026  

The Role 

You will carry out all the requirements of an SMSA supervising both in our dining hall and on the playground, helping the children to have a safe and happy lunch time. An ability to organise simple games and interact with the children is desirable.

Our School  

Horfield is a two-form entry primary school looking to enhance their provision as they continue on their school development journey. We are looking forward to welcoming a new permanent head teacher in September who will join a warm and inclusive community striving to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

The Trust
