This is a wonderful opportunity for a colleague to join our thriving and successful school.

The school has been through change in recent years including joining the Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) Multi Academy Trust alongside a number of our feeder schools and Gordano, Churchill and Backwell secondary schools.  The school has a distinctive character and ethos which is unashamedly student-centred and emotionally intelligent in the way relationships are managed between staff, parents, students and governors.

Job Purpose

  • To assist the Site and Facilities team in co-ordinating the maintenance and security of the school buildings, including the cluster primary schools; carrying out a programme of set-up, portering, and undertaking minor repair and maintenance work, working safely, within H&S regulations.
  • Working under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, supervise services necessary to meet the defined standards and qualities essential for a hygienic, healthy and safe school environment.
  • To act as an integral part of the school staff team, and as such to contribute to the overall aims of the school, working within agreed policies and procedures.

Please visit the school website for further information about the school including a visual prospectus which will, I hope, give applicants a better understanding of the range of opportunities here for staff and students which make school life so successful and enjoyable.

Please view the attached Job Information Pack. Applicants are asked to submit a completed application form along with a supporting letter of one side of A4 highlighting how they feel they meet the person specification and key responsibilities.

Closing date for applications is Wednesday 17th April at 9am.
