Manorcroft Primary School is a friendly, inclusive two-form entry school for children aged 4-11, which offers a caring, safe and exciting learning environment. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Home School Link Worker (HSLW) to help improve the life outcomes and opportunities for our children and their families, by providing a range of early intervention, signposting, support and guidance. They would also become a DSL and work as part of the school’s safeguarding team.
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience of working with parents/families and developing positive relationships
• Experience of working with other professional agencies
• Experience of supporting families in crisis or helping to resolve complex issues
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• The ability to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative and adaptable
• The ability to be empathetic, patient, supportive and diplomatic
