Teacher of Mathematics

Full Time, Fixed Term (until 31st August 2027)

We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. Start Date – September 2026 or ASAP

We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to work with our Head of Mathematics and the Mathematics Team in taking the department on to even greater success.

Mathematics is a popular and successful subject within the School, with numbers for A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics being consistently high. The School also offers Level 3 Core Mathematics as part of its Sixth Form curriculum.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for teaching Mathematics and the ability to inspire both staff and students
  • Have the ability to teach Mathematics to at least GCSE
  • Insist on a commitment from all young people to achieve success, and will have the ability to motivate students with a focus on maximising attainment
  • Have outstanding subject knowledge and an awareness of current developments in Mathematics teaching
