Teacher of Physical Education & Cover Supervisor

Teaching Contract approx. 0.4FTE, supplemented to Full Time through additional cover supervision

Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026

Full Time Equivalent Salary – MPS/UPS for Teaching element,

Cover Supervision element will be paid at Grade 6 (Points 15-20).

We are looking for a PE teacher/Cover supervisor to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. Hours – 8.25am - 3.25pm

Start Date – ASAP

Actual Salary – MPS/UPS ECTs are welcome to apply. The cover supervision role will be paid at a different rate of Grade 6 Points 15-20 (£29,093 - £31,586 FTE)

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Cover Supervisor, to also teach some PE on a regular (0.4FTE), timetabled basis, to join our crucial support staff team who work extremely closely with teaching staff to provide the very best educational experience for the young people in our school. Cover supervisors take a full and active part in school life.

The successful candidate should:

• Be flexible in their approach, a good listener and communicator, have positive attitudes to young people and good organisational skills. 

• Have high expectations of themselves and others and be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
