Job Title: SEND Administrator
Hours: up to 17.5 hours per week

Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only + INSET)
Salary: CSET 9. £28,598 FTE (£11,634 prorated for 17.5 hours per week)
Contract type: Fixed term contract until 31/08/2026
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and personable part time SEND Administrator to join our dedicated team, supporting the smooth running of our SEND provision. This is a vital role at the heart of our school, ensuring that our systems and processes run efficiently so that every student receives the support they need to thrive.
You’ll provide high-quality administrative support to the SEND team, including the SENCo, and act as a key point of contact for parents, students, and staff. From managing pupil files and coordinating Annual Review paperwork to assisting with access arrangements for exams, your work will directly contribute to the success and wellbeing of our students.
About You
You’ll be a warm, approachable self-starter with a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs. You’re highly organised, able to juggle multiple tasks, and thrive in a busy school environment. You’ll bring a calm, professional manner to every interaction—whether you’re speaking with parents, students, or senior leaders.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrable experience in office administration and working within procedures
- Is confident using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), databases, and mail merge tools
- Can manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Communicates clearly, tactfully, and helpfully with all stakeholders
- Is eager to learn and develop new skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
- Knowledge of SIMS and SEND is desirable, but not essential
