Welcome to May Park Primary School, a 3-11 community academy in East Central Bristol and proud member of the Excalibur Academies Trust. We are diverse and vibrant three form entry primary school with a stimulating nursery set in fantastic grounds. Our modern, purpose-built buildings and our extensive outdoor space enable our children unique opportunities to use their creative minds as they explore the woods, Savannah, field and multi-use games area.

By offering an inspiring curriculum, we expect our children to think differently: taking risks with their learning, embracing uncertainty, problem solving, making connections and playing with possibilities.

May Park joined the Excalibur Academies Trust on the 1st September 2019. The Trust aims to raise educational standards, value and develop people and to ensure sustainability form the pillars on which our new academy is formed.

The aim of our new curriculum will be to tap into our local community and expose our children to the cultural richness of Bristol whilst still keeping the focus on improving the core, Reading, Writing and Mathematics. We want to cultivate and nurture the values of creativity and curiosity – a thirst for knowledge in all of our children.
