Fairfield High School would like to appoint a Data Manager. Do you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working quickly and accurately? You will be responsible for the collection, organisation, input, analysis, presentation and distribution of data relating to pupil attainment and progress. The Data Manager will work closely with the Assistant Vice Principal and will be required to monitor, update and analyse the school’s attainment and progress tracking and reporting systems.
Hours of work are 37 per week, term time only plus 2 Inset days in September, plus 8 additional days working 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm Fridays (inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch break). Salary is based on points 19 - 23, full time equivalent of £29,777 to £32,076. Actual Salary will be £26,268 to £28,297.
The successful candidate will have:
• Previous experience of using SIMS/Assessment Manager, SISRA - is essential, and other school systems an advantage – some training can be given
• An excellent level of IT including Excel and Word
• A good knowledge and experience of administrative procedures and an ability to prioritise work
• Be able to organise data to ensure that all enquiries are resolved promptly in accordance with performance criteria
• Ensure secure handling of confidential data and information to comply with the Data Protection Act
