Two Full Time Co-Headteachers
Two full-time co-headteachers bring shared expertise, consistent leadership, and greater support for pupils, staff, and families.
Sport
Pupils have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities in and out of school including cross country and athletics.
Music
Rocksteady Music – children have the opportunity to play different instruments, learning rhythm and melodies. All band members ‘Rock their socks off’ in their end of term concerts.
Forest School
We have a wonderful nature area which is used by children. During their time at The Meadow children will be able to participate in forest school activities such as denbuilding, making knots and camp fires.
Enrichment
With the backing of parents, the school engages in diverse
educational excursions to locations like theatres, museums and
other points of interest. A residential trip is organised providing a
more immersive learning experience. Children are able to learn how
to do activities such as archery, rock climbing, high ropes, kayaking and puzzle solving making a happy memorable school experience.
Wellbeing and Pastoral Support
We pride ourselves on our pastoral support from our ‘route to resilience’ approach with pupils nominating one another for demonstrating key characteristics, to our ELSA and School Counsellor. Pupil voice is key and we promote this through our School Council, subject ambassadors, playground leaders etc.
Bikeability
Helps our children to gain confidence, stay safe and enjoy the freedom of cycling.
Nutritious Fresh Prepared Meals
Our food is prepared on-site ensuring children eat healthy, balanced meals to support their learning.
