We are seeking a Site Manager to join our team at Meadow Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.
The Site Manager role has become available following the retirement of our current Site Manager, following a career spanning 33 years. This is a key role in our school and offers the right candidate a unique opportunity. As the Site Manager you will be the heartbeat of our premises – leading on:
The day-to-day management, maintenance, and presentation of our site and facilities
Supporting statutory compliance and health & safety, with guidance from our Facilities Officer
Line managing and developing your Site Assistant
Taking pride in keeping our buildings, grounds, and swimming pool in outstanding condition
Contributing to large-scale capital and improvement projects, with opportunities for professional growth and development
You’ll enjoy genuine variety – one day you’ll be overseeing contractors or testing safety systems, the next planning upgrades or preparing for a community event. We believe that when children learn in an environment that is beautiful, safe, and cared for, they feel valued, behave positively, and are inspired to do their best.
About Meadow Primary School
Meadow Primary School is a three-form entry primary school with a nursery in Surrey. As part of the Bourne Education Trust (BET), a successful multi-academy trust comprising twenty-four schools across Surrey, Hampshire, and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, we are committed to "Transforming schools...changing lives."
At our school, you will find a welcoming and purposeful environment centred on our core purpose and vision: for our children to leave Meadow Primary School as confident, resourceful and respectful individuals who are ready to transition into a successful life at secondary school and beyond. This is a place where everyone is challenged to perform at their best and where there is a commitment to nurturing and growing happy, successful, intellectually curious and determined children and young people with a strong sense of moral and cultural values.
Our curriculum has been designed to meet the needs of our children and focuses on engaging all through Discovery Days and learning sequences that build skills and knowledge so that all children aspire and achieve the best possible outcomes. Our learning environment promotes active learning where children are encouraged to ask questions and become independent learners. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum where PE and the arts are a pivotal element to every week. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds and our swimming pool is used 50% of the year.
