MEADOW PRIMARY SCHOOL: MOTIVATING PUPILS TO SUCCEED

Thank you for your interest in the opportunity to join our dedicated and forward-thinking teaching team at Meadow Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and supportive school community. Our environment is both friendly and calm, where both pupils and staff enjoy coming to school every day. We believe that learning should be engaging and enjoyable, and we are committed to ensuring that all our children succeed. With high expectations for all our pupils, we foster positive attitudes towards collaborative learning across all year groups. Our 638 pupils (including those in our popular nursery) thrive in a diverse and nurturing setting. The school was inspected by Ofsted in September 2022 and was judged as a ‘good’ school, and the report begins, 'Meadow Primary is a happy school which values every pupil. Pupils go about their school day smiling. This includes the two-year-olds who have just started in the brand-new nursery. Relationships are strong. Pupils show an interest in all they do.'

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher who is passionate about education. The ideal candidate will be committed to raising standards within our school and have a proven track record of fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

You will:

Be committed to raising the standard of learning for all pupils

Have a proven record of good and outstanding teaching

Be inspirational, creative and a role model to others

Have the ability to work well in a team

Have excellent assessment for learning practices

Have experience and knowledge of teaching EAL, SEND and PP pupils.

In return we can offer:

A variety of opportunities to suit the successful applicant - we believe in developing skills and using the strengths of the individual

A friendly and supportive working environment

The advantages of working as part of a smaller team in primary school, whilst gaining the benefits of access to all of the expertise in the MAT

A commitment to opportunities for your professional development including National College online learning subscriptions

Opportunities to support the school in moving forward, whilst achieving your own career aspirations

Excellent staff benefits, including lifestyle discounts, staff social events and access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme.

An emphasis on well-being including a 2 week October half-term.

If you are someone who wants to be part of a creative, skilled, and professional team, are passionate about learning, and are dedicated to making a difference for all our pupils, we would love to hear from you. Please read the attached Job Pack for more details.

We warmly welcome visits to the school to experience our welcoming setting first-hand.
