Location: Locking, Weston-super-Mare
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus 37 inset hours per academic year
Salary: £23,089 per annum (actual salary, paid evenly across 12 months)
Contract: 12-month fixed-term (potential to extend)

About the role
As our HR & Payroll Administrator, you will:
- Manage day-to-day HR and payroll administration across the Trust
- Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, payroll processing, leaver administration
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR
- Handle recruitment administration, including job adverts and compliance checks
- Act as the first point of contact for staff queries
- Assist with reporting, audits, and policy implementation
You will have:
- Previous administrative experience with strong organisational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work calmly under pressure
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Teams); systems training provided
- Professional approach to handling confidential data
- Positive, proactive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience in education is desirable but not essential
