About the Role:
As the EYFS Teacher and Leader, you will take responsibility for the planning, delivery, and leadership of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum at Melksham House School. You will inspire and lead a dedicated team, ensuring every child receives the highest quality education and care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and child-centered lessons that align with the EYFS framework.
· Leadership: Lead and manage the EYFS team, fostering a collaborative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
· Monitoring: Track and assess the progress of EYFS pupils, ensuring all children achieve their developmental milestones.
· Environment: Create and maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, indoors and outdoors, tailored to the needs of all learners.
· Partnerships: Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to build strong relationships and support children’s holistic development.
· Professional Development: Support the ongoing development and training of the EYFS team, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence.
· Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
