Attendance Improvement Coordinator

Salary: Pay Scale 4 £23,817 - £28,273 (pro rata £20,920 – £25,229)
Hours: 37 hours per a week, term time
Contract: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Closing Date: 22nd May 2022
Interview Date: 26th May 2022

We require an Attendance Improvement Coordinator to join Meon Junior School to promote excellent attendance and punctuality to reduce absence levels. A key part of your role will be liaising with parents/carers so strong communication skills are essential.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Committed to supporting pupils
  • Effective communicator both orally and in writing
  • Effective ICT skills and excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Understanding of the educational system and current developments
  • Ability to motivate and to support learning
  • HLTA status is desirable but not essential
