Merstham Park School is looking to appoint a conscientious and dedicated Arts and Technology Technician to provide technical and learning support to teaching staff and to our students. This role will be well suited for candidates who are looking to work with student to advise and guide them safely so that their learning in subjects such as D&T and Art is outstanding.

What we are looking for
We are looking for applicants that meet the following criteria:
- Certified in Health and Safety training in D&T Core and Workshop practice
- Ability to plan and prioritise a range of regular and irregular tasks within specific deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow strict Health and Safety Regulations.
- Good ICT, Graphics, Carpentry, Metal Work, 2D and 3D Modelling, CAD, Drawing and Drafting Skills.
- Good knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Outlook (training can be provided)

The Details
Start date: ASAP
Contract type: Permanent, Term-time only
Working hours: Monday - Friday 36 hours, 39 weeks of the year
Pay Scale: Associate 2 £19627
Annual Salary (pro-rata, for 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year): £16,885
