Your Opportunity

We are looking for a talented and motivated Teacher that is able to deliver both the PE and Humanities curriculum across MPS.

As Teacher of PE, you will inspire our students and engender a love of learning you will join our PE team whose vision is to provide a curriculum that is accessible to all students through the delivery of high quality teaching and learning of a broad range of activities. By the end of their Physical Education journey at Merstham Park, students should have developed a personal commitment to, and genuine passion for, maintaining their health and well-being into adult life.

We value the opportunities that extra-curricular can provide. As a result, we have a broad programme, and all members of the Department are actively involved in running clubs at lunchtime, coaching team practices and attending competitive matches after school. We also run an inclusive set of house tournaments throughout the year and a whole school competitive Sports Day at the end of the year. These events are centred around mass participation and developing the house ethos across all year groups.

As Teacher of Humanities, you will deliver high quality lessons and have a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to explain concepts clearly. As with all staff at MPS, you will have plenty of CPD opportunities for professional development and growth.

We are interested in hearing from all candidates, no matter what point in your career you are currently at, and welcome flexible working arrangements. ECT candidates are encouraged to apply.
