At MIAG, we are a growing Independent Special School committed to providing highly personalised, therapeutic, and engaging education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs. We are seeking committed, resilient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with secondary school experience to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small specialist setting where relationships, nurture, and creativity are at the heart of everything we do, supporting learners who may have experienced significant barriers to education and helping them to re-engage, achieve, and thrive.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support learning, emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour both within the classroom and through wider enrichment activities. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, calm under pressure, and passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable young people. Experience of working with learners with SEMH, SEND, anxiety, trauma, or challenging behaviour would be highly advantageous. If you are looking for a rewarding role within an ambitious and evolving specialist school where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you.
