At MIAG, we believe that safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do and is everyone's business. As a small independent special school, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where vulnerable young people can belong and thrive. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our growing team and lead safeguarding practice across the school, supporting learners with SEND, SEMH needs, and complex life experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled safeguarding professional who is passionate about child-centred practice and committed to making a lasting difference. Working closely with families, external agencies, and the wider staff team, you will play a key role in ensuring learners feel safe, supported, and able to achieve positive outcomes. If you thrive in a relational environment and want to help shape an ambitious and evolving specialist school, we would love to hear from you.
