Salary: £27,269-£30,060 per annum, pro rata (Grade 5 SCP 11-17)
Actual salary: £23,428-£25,826 per annum
Working hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days

The role:
Hayesfield Girls’ School are looking to recruit an Inclusion Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school's internal alternative provision, providing tailored pastoral and academic support to students to facilitate their successful reintegration into mainstream education. This will involve overseeing the delivery of individualised support plans, coordinating academic sessions, and building strong relationships with students, parents, and external agencies. The role also requires the implementation of a firm but fair approach to behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour strategies, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students within the provision.
Requirements:
Essential to the role is that the candidate has:
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage an alternative provision effectively.
• Experience working with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or behavioral challenges.
• A firm but fair approach to behavior management, promoting respect, responsibility, and positive reinforcement.
• High levels of empathy and compassion, understanding the challenges students face and providing a safe and supportive environment.
• Initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with students, staff, parents, and external agencies.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the ability to recognize and respond to concerns appropriately.
