Full time, Permanent, 37 hours per week
To start as soon as possible, Beechen Cliff School are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of our school site and buildings, including the Boarding House.
As Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our students and staff work and learn in a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing site security and managing access
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations including safe systems of work, risk assessments and and record keeping
- Managing contractors and maintenance schedules
- Carrying out routine inspections, minor repairs, and general site upkeep
- Performance Management of the site team including caretakers and the Cleaning Supervisor
- Ensuring the site is clean and well-kept at all times
- Supporting school events and emergency situations
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised, reliable, and hands-on
- Experienced in site and/or facilities management
- Experienced in managing staff and third parties/contractors
- Knowledgeable in health & safety legislation
- Skilled in basic maintenance, repairs, and problem-solving
- Good IT skills
- Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills
