About us:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing school as Head of Key Stage 3, leading the pastoral and academic development of our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils during one of the most important stages of their education.
As Head of Key Stage 3, you will create a culture where every child feels known, valued and challenged. You'll lead a dedicated team of tutors, work closely with families and colleagues, and ensure pupils develop the confidence, resilience and academic foundations they need before moving on to Somerset College in Year 9.
Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will continue to teach, modelling excellent classroom practice and inspiring young people every day.
We are looking for an outstanding teacher with a genuine passion for pastoral leadership. Whether you already have leadership experience or are an ambitious teacher ready for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
We welcome applications from teachers of all subject specialisms and all levels of teaching experience. If you have the vision, compassion and drive to make a lasting difference to the lives of young people, we will provide the support and development to help you succeed.
In return, we offer:
A unique opportunity to shape the culture and experience of Key Stage 3.
A supportive and collaborative leadership team and wealth of experience from a thriving trust.
A school community built on high expectations, strong relationships and inclusive values.
The opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people every day.
If you are passionate about helping every child thrive and want to play a key role in shaping the future of our school, we would be delighted to receive your application.
We welcome visits to our school – Please call us and ask for Kellie Willis to arrange a time.
