St Julian's Church School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic learning support assistant to join our strong and supportive team, working in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to join a school committed to helping every pupil to flourish.
St Julian’s Church School is a small rural primary school set in the beautiful village of Wellow near the City of Bath. We are a happy, inclusive school where everyone is valued. Through learning that is creative, rich and full of opportunities, we aspire to develop a love for learning rooted in Christian values. We encourage children to follow their dreams and have the confidence to be the best they can be. We have a strong ethos of nurture, prioritising the wellbeing of everyone in our school community. Our vision to ‘Aim high - believe - succeed’ drives all that we do.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable and enthusiastic, has good interpersonal skills and is able to use their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. You will be expected to work alongside the class teacher, the SENCO and outside agencies to ensure the needs of the pupil are met. Knowledge and experience of supporting children with additional needs is desirable but not essential as training and support will be available.
