We are looking for a dynamic and hard working Facilities Maintenance Assistant to work within our Site team in this popular and high-performing school. Candidates must have a good sense of humour and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
Beechen Cliff School is a high-performing boys' school for students aged 11-18, with a co-educational Sixth Form, located in the beautiful city of Bath. We are committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main keyholder and be responsible for the security of the premises, including locking up and responding to emergency call-outs.
- Supervise school lettings and escort contractors, monitoring their work and ensuring safe practices.
- Receive and distribute deliveries and maintain appropriate stock levels of cleaning and repair materials.
- Ensure the general tidiness and safety of outside areas, including litter removal and gritting paths in severe weather.
- Undertake emergency cleaning duties and general portage tasks, such as setting up and putting away furniture.
- Carry out checks on school minibuses and manage parking and visitors during school events.
