Salary: Grade 1, scale point 3 - 7, Actual salary £13,073 - £13,278 (FTE £24,027 - £24,404)

Based primarily at Peasedown St John Primary School, with potential to cover other schools within our trust in the Bath area. Peasedown St John Primary School is a thriving community school, known for its warm and supportive atmosphere, where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist in the smooth running of our school kitchen and dining room. You'll play a vital role in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our students, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and simple dishes.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers (with training), and dishwashers.
- Help set up and maintain the dining room, supervising queues and ensuring cleanliness.
- Operate tills for cashless catering, free school meals, and staff meals.
- Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist in monitoring food temperatures and maintaining hygiene records.
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of the kitchen and dining area.
- Assist with risk assessments and report any hazards.
- Potentially load and deliver pre-prepared meals to other schools within the trust using the school catering vehicle.
- Assist with catering for school events.
