Role: Hayesfield School

Location: Bath

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: 27.5 hours a week - 8:30am till 2:00pm - 5 days a week - Term Time plus 1 inset day

Salary: £12.85 - £13.05 per hour (Grade 1 SCP 3-4) (FTE £24,796 - £25,185) actual salary £15,551 - £15,795

As a catering assistant at Hayesfield School, you'll play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious food to our students and staff. You'll work in a fast-paced and friendly environment, helping to prepare, serve and clear away meals, ensuring our school community is well-fed. This involves everything from food prep and service to keeping our kitchen sparkling clean.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Serving meals in the dining room
  • Operating kitchen machinery (with training)
  • Washing up and keeping the kitchen and dining areas tidy
  • Helping with cashless catering tills
  • And more, as part of our supportive team
