We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team to support our teachers and pupils.

The successful candidate will will support and work closely with pupils and our teaching team which will include a variety of situations. You will help improve motivation, encourage re-engagement for learning and teach coping strategies, intervene and supporting when needed. 

This post is for 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.00am - 4.00pm (half hour lunch), term time only plus 5 INSET days. The actual salary will start at £24,826 gross per annum (£2,068 gross per month). There are seven pay points within the grade and the post holder will move through these points, increasing their salary each April.

The right candidate will have:

GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

ELSA Training (desirable)

A proven ability to work using their own initiative

The ability to run small group interventions, focussed on improving engagement, behaviour, welfare and/or student attainment

The ability to oversee the school's isolation room, ensuring students make good progress in their learning, communicating effectively with teachers when needed.

The ability to provide administrative support associated with our behaviour system and the role.
