Sixth Form Receptionist /Admin Assistant - starting as soon as possible

Grade 3 range £24,790 - £25,584

Actual salary £21,584 - £22,275 pro rata - 37 hours per week

Permanent, Full time contract - Term Time Only plus insets and 2 days in August

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our Sixth Form team.  The Sixth Form covers a number of sites. These are MSN Sixth Form, Writhlington Sixth Form, Somerset Studio School Sixth Form and the Bath Dance College. The role will be based at Norton Hill School but will involve work for Sixth Form across all the sites.

The role will include:

  • To assist with the Trust post 16 bursary administration ensuring all aspects of the bursary process is completed in a timely manner by all those involved and the requirements of the Trust policy are met.
  • To administrate the attendance processes - monitoring attendance and picking up issues that may arise. Meeting with Deputy Directors of Sixth Form on a weekly basis and carrying out agreed actions. Monitoring student attendance.
  • To assist with the supervision of students within the Norton Hill Sixth Form centre throughout the day, including lunchtimes.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A professional attitude and manner
  • The ability to work both within a team and independently
