Teaching Assistant

Midsomer Norton Primary School is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team.

This is a part-time position for 18.75 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:15 PM,

term time only plus two Inset days.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pupils' learning and development. You'll work closely

with teachers to prepare learning materials, assist with classroom activities, and provide one-on-one or small

group support to children. A key part of this role involves nurturing a positive and inclusive learning

environment, helping children to engage with their lessons and achieve their full potential. We're looking for someone

who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young learners, with excellent communication skills

and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience working with children in an educational

setting is desirable.
