Are you an enthusiastic person looking to work in a friendly school? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a  Learning Support Assistant at Milford School in Godalming.  We wish to appoint a  member of staff from January 2026 - to Aug 2026. The role will be to support the learning and development of all children, including those with additional needs. The position will be working with small groups and at times on a 1:1 basis with some children.  The ideal hours for this role would be Monday  - Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Leading teaching and learning under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo  
  • Work as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, a sense of humour and the ability to share ideas and learn from each other
  • Working with the teacher to create an enabling classroom  learning environment
  • Ensure safeguarding is at the heart for all children, following school procedures
  • Appropriate training provided where required 
  • There is an option, for the right candidate with suitable experience, to undertake some Higher Level Teaching Assistant whole class cover (HLTA) at a higher level of pay
