Working to the Trust's operating model, the successful candidate will lead all the school’s support functions including Finance, Human Resources, Premises and Health & Safety. They will work closely with a Central Service Team and will provide day-to-day line management and leadership for non-educational staff on site including the Administration team, Site team and Catering team.

About the role
- To play an active role as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT); advising the headteacher and SLT colleagues on all matters relating to the Trust 's policy and procedures, encompassing Health & Safety, Maintenance & Facilities, Catering, Cleaning, Administration and Compliance.
- To liaise with the Central Service Team to ensure the implementation of trust-wide policies and procedures throughout the School.
- To prepare and submit relevant information to the headteacher, Central Service Team and other outside agencies as required.
- To participate fully in wider school life by supporting out of hours events including, but not limited to, Open Evenings, Parent Evenings, Awards Ceremonies and Music Concerts.
About You
- You will have the ability to work systematically and strategically; to prioritise your workload and to meet deadlines is essential. The successful candidate will also be able to develop systems to meet the school’s ethos, values and aspirations.
- You will have experience in a school setting, specifically an understanding of special school budgets would be an advantage but is not essential.
- You will have a successful background of managing projects and collaborating with other.
- You will have, or be able to develop, a good understanding of premises, HR, and Health & Safety management and work with Central Service Teams to ensure school compliance in these areas.
- You will be self-motivated, have a creative, flexible and positive approach to problem-solving which is an integral part of the role.
