Teaching Assistant L3 - Permanent
Hours of work: 30 hours a week, Term Time - Monday - Friday 8.25am - 3.00pm with a 35 minute unpaid break
There is an expectation that you may need to attend training or staff meetings outside of your working hours, this will be paid as overtime.
Salary Details FTE: LG Band 5, points 11 - 14 £28,598 - £31,022 (FTE)
Actual Salary: £19,498 - £21,630 based on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our SEND and EAL team, to help make learning accessible for all students.
The main responsibilities of the job role would include:
- Planning and teaching small groups of students with primarily EAL but also SEND needs to support their language development.
- To undergo the TEFL course.
- Support the management of LSA's
- Plan own timetable around new students and young people's language development
- To lead on the testing and introduction of mid term new admissions.
- To support teachers with resources and advice regarding young people who are new to English.
- Manage the induction of mid-term admissions
The right candidate will have

- GCSE A-C Math's/English
- A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a learning environment would be essential
- A further/higher education subject specialism would be desirable but not essential
