Cleaner - Permanent
Hours of work: Part Time 15 hours a week, Term Time - Monday - Friday 3.15pm - 6.15pm, plus 45 hours (equivalent to 3 weeks) during school holidays to allow for a deep clean.
Actual Salary: £8,979 - £9,182 based on experience
Position Start Date: 3rd November 2025
We have an exciting opportunity for a cleaner to join our premises team to ensure that the school building is cleaned to the highest possible standard, cleaning all areas of the building at the end of the school day.
Key to your success in this role will be your experience within the cleaning industry, Ideally in a school setting or for an employer.
Job role as a School Cleaner:
You will be required to clean:
• classrooms
• communal areas
• toilets etc.
• Using a variety of specialist products and equipment.
You will need to be flexible in assisting other staff members as and when required.
Knowledge of health and safety, use of cleaning products and equipment in a similar environment would be useful.

- Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
- Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
- Someone who has a 'can do' attitude and enjoys working in a busy environment.

- Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school
- Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance, wearing the appropriate clothing footwear etc. for the tasks involved
