A key role within the school, providing comprehensive administrative support.

Hours of work: 32.25 hours a week, Term Time - Monday - Friday 8am - 3.15pm with a 30 minute lunch break

There is an expectation that you may need to attend training or staff meetings outside of your working hours, this will be paid as overtime.

Salary Details FTE: LG Band 3, points 5 - 6 - £25,583 - 25,989 (Pro Rata)

Actual Salary: £18,751.18 - £19,048.76 based on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team at Moat Community College as a office administrator.

Summary of Job Tasks

· Updates and maintains the relevant filing, clerical or computerised record systems, databases, spreadsheets etc.

· Assists with preparation for whole school events such as vaccinations, sports day, activity days and trips.

· Keeps up to date with the relevant guides, procedures, forms, etc. used in the school.

· Communicate effectively with parents and carers by phone, face-to-face, email and text messaging systems and provide responsive support to their queries.

· Generate correspondence and reports of a routine nature.

· Be responsible for monitoring the absence telephone line, email and messages and updating attendance registers accurately with the information received.

· Initiate the first day absence communication system, making phone calls and sending texts, to update attendance registers appropriately.

· Be responsible for ensuring that all attendance data is input accurately and effective way into our management information system.

· Check and prompt register completion by all staff.

· Meet students who arrive late to school each day, identifying patterns and sharing concerns with the pastoral team.

· Provides First Aid to students and staff (training will be provided)

· An efficient and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills with the ability to relate positively to children and adults.

· Adaptable as no two days are the same

· Proficient IT user

· A person who is calm, caring, approachable, but firm

· A hard-working individual

· Patient with the ability to handle situations with tact and diplomacy.

· GCSE A-C Math's/English
