Job Vacancy: Social Media and Content Creator

Location: Moat Community College and a opportunity for Hybrid working

Closing Date: 21st September 2025

Working Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week, Term Time Only + 1 week in the holidays 

Actual Salary: £8,721 - £9,060

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and digitally-savvy individual to join our team as a Social Media and Content Creator. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and share the story of our vibrant and inclusive secondary school through engaging and inspiring content, and to help promote the achievements and voices of our students.

About You:

  • Experience in content creation, social media management
  • Confident using platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and video editing tools.
  • Strong photography and videography skills – with an eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and highly organised.
  • Passion for education and young people.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with staff and students.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training will be provided).
