About the Role

Are you passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student can thrive?

We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate individual to take on a key safeguarding and student wellbeing role. You’ll be at the heart of our student support network—providing timely interventions, promoting mental health and wellbeing, and ensuring no concern goes unnoticed.

This role will be predominantly based at our Chelsea Centre, but with cross campus collaboration and workshopping to ensure all of our students benefit from mental health and well being support.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Responding swiftly and effectively to safeguarding concerns, in line with College policies.
  • Conducting risk assessments and collaborate with external agencies to keep students safe.
  • Tracking and managing safeguarding cases with precision and care.
  • Providing term-time wellbeing support via 1:1 sessions and workshops.
  • Referring students to specialist mental health services when needed.
  • Championing mental health across the College through engaging events and activities.
  • Monitoring and supporting individual student progression—identifying barriers and implementing solutions.
  • Working collaboratively to ensure students reach their academic, personal, and career goals.

About you

You bring empathy, clarity, and structure to every interaction. You’re comfortable handling complex situations with professionalism, and thrive when supporting others. Experience in safeguarding, mental health, or educational support is valuable—but above all, we’re looking for someone committed to student wellbeing and success.
