About the Role
Morley College London is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Television, Film and Media to manage and deliver its well-established Level 2 and 3 Extended/Diploma in Television and Film.
This year we are proud to be running a T Level in Media, Broadcast and Production L3 alongside our existing UAL L3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology (Film, TV and Media Production) for which we have a brand new state of the art TV studio that will enhance student’s practical media skills. The fully equipped studio supports the recording of live and ‘as-live’ productions, including interviews, discussion programmes, quiz shows, and news segments.
The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, and practical expertise in cinematography and post-production. You will play a key role in leading curriculum delivery, supporting students' creative development, and maintaining high academic standards across the department.
You will hold an undergraduate degree in a related subject and ideally have experience within the FE sector and hold a teaching qualification, as well as having experience of working in the industry, leveraging your contacts to innovate with guest lectures, workshops, or placements.
At the Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries (CCCI) the learner is placed at the heart of a unique educational experience to build their industry and character skills towards prosperity in their career and future studies. Media at CCCI provides learners with contemporary industry-relevant education at a grassroots level, providing them with not only the technical skills required to succeed, but also with the collaborative working, problem solving, and critical thinking skills needed to optimise their success as a creative in the 21st Century.
