ALN Support Manager
Required from January 2026
Grade 8 SCP 25-29 £36,363-£39,862 pro rata
37 hours per week 41-week contract
Purpose: To provide essential support to our ALNCO. Manage and supervise administrative duties within the ALN department. Planning, development and monitoring of Teaching Assistants, including co-ordination and delegation of relevant activities. Governors are looking to appoint an ALN Support Manager to provide vital assistance to our ALNCO. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising administrative functions within the ALN department, as well as planning, developing, and monitoring the work of Teaching Assistants. This includes coordinating and delegating relevant tasks to ensure effective support.
The role involves leading the administration and organisation of support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs in line with school policy and national statutory regulations. The ALN Support Manager will also act as the line manager for mainstream Teaching Assistants.
