Enhanced Provision Teacher

We are seeking an innovative teacher who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for all pupils to lead our new Enhanced Provision at The Ridge Junior School. This role will involve leading and supporting a group of children with special educational needs within our enhanced provision. The children within this provision have a range of special educational needs, including autism, social emotional and mental health, communication difficulties, and moderate learning needs. Pupil’s will be taught in this enhanced provision during the mornings and will be taught phonics, writing, maths and reading as well as a focus on emotional regulation and life skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO and curriculum leads to design and deliver a curriculum for students in the Enhanced Provision.
The Ridge Junior School is part of Bridgeway Federation alongside our on-site infants’ school, Broadway Infants. This partnership provides exciting opportunities for staff and pupils across the federation. We have spacious grounds and prioritise outdoor learning and play development for all our children.
Hours: 0.57 FTE
Working Pattern: Monday- Friday – mornings only
Salary - MPS 3 – 6
£20,334 - £24,855
Fixed Term until 31/08/2026 pending a budget review
About the Role:
• Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes within the enhanced provision base
• Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals to implement EHCP targets
• Promote inclusive practices and positive behaviour strategies
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain detailed records to support assessment and planning
• Foster a supportive and safe environment that encourages independence and confidence
About You:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children with SEND
• Deep understanding of differentiation, inclusive pedagogy, and multi-agency collaboration
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, creativity, and resilience
