We are looking for two committed After School Club Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team. These roles are offered on one year fixed term contracts.

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising and caring for the children in After School Club, by assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of a variety of activities

• Interacting with children and overseeing their activities, ensuring safety both indoors and outdoors

• Ensuring children are behaving appropriately and in line with the schools behaviour policy at all times

• Being aware of and responding to Health & Safety issues promptly

• Being a strong, positive role model for the children and other staff

• Following the school's policy and procedures on child protection and attending any relevant training provided

• Working with colleagues to set up and clear away the After School Club

• Maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Previous experience is not necessary, but you must be willing and able to attend relevant training.

Hours of work:   3.00pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (12.5 hours per week).

• Parkwall Primary School is a smaller school in Cadbury Heath.
