An opportunity has arisen at Redfield Edge Primary School for an enthusiastic, caring and organised assistant for our afterschool club provision. Afterschool Club runs term time only, weekdays 3.30-6pm.
You will be supporting our Afterschool club supervisor 3 days a week in our successful and well attended afterschool club. You will be collecting pupils from their classes and support in providing a variety of fun and engaging activities with pupils in their club session. Safeguarding children in your care you will also prepare food, such as toast as part of the session. Pupils will have the opportunity to have a healthy snack.
This is a term time only role, working 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday 3.30pm to 5pm)
A good communicator, you will have experience of working with primary school pupils , managing activities such as craft, sport and games. Punctual and a good team member, this role is ideal if you enjoy working with children and want to gain more experience of a school setting.
This post is for a fixed term of one year 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027, the contract will be extended pending a financial viability review.
This role is MPT2 Point 3 £25614 FTE
4.5hrs / week £2635 Actual per annum
