Salary: Leadership Scale L10–L13, £66,956–£72,032

Contract: Permanent, full time

Start date: 1 January 2027

Closing date: 12 noon, Tuesday 13 October 2026

Transform teaching. Develop expertise. Improve outcomes.

Mosaic Partnership Trust is seeking an exceptional and experienced Pedagogy Coach to join our Central Education Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished teacher and senior leader to influence teaching, learning and assessment across our family of 12 schools in Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. Working primarily within schools, you will help colleagues translate professional knowledge into consistently strong classroom practice through precise, supportive and evidence-informed coaching.

You will work closely with the Trust Pedagogy Lead to embed our Trust-wide Teaching and Learning Framework. The role will include:

• observing teaching and accurately identifying the most important areas for development;

• providing regular instructional coaching;

• modelling exemplary classroom practice;

• supporting effective planning, assessment, scaffolding and adaptation;

• helping teachers anticipate and respond to barriers to learning;

• leading school-based and Trust-wide professional development;

• constructively challenging teachers and leaders about the quality and impact of teaching; and

• supporting the effective use of StepLab across the Trust.

About you

You will be an exemplary classroom practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status, successful senior leadership experience and a proven record of securing sustained pedagogical improvement. You will bring experience of coaching teachers, leading high-quality professional development and influencing practice beyond your own school.

You will also have:

• a strong understanding of educational research and cognitive science;

• experience of working in at least two educational settings;

• the confidence and credibility to professionally challenge school leaders;

• a good understanding of the Ofsted inspection framework;

• excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills;

• strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities; and

• a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

Experience of working across several schools within a multi-academy trust, using StepLab or an equivalent coaching platform, and holding an NPQ would be desirable.

Above all, you will be authentic, calm and professional. You will work with openness, honesty and humility, combining high expectations with an approachable and collaborative style. You will be resilient, adaptable and committed to your own continuing professional growth.

Why join Mosaic Partnership Trust?

Our Trust was formed in 2024 with the ambition of transforming children’s lives through collaboration. We serve diverse urban and rural communities and are committed to equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.

We invest in practitioner-led professional development and provide opportunities for colleagues at every level to learn, grow and develop their expertise. Coaching is central to this approach because we believe that excellent teaching has the greatest in-school influence on pupil outcomes.

As Pedagogy Coach, you will help make high-quality inclusive teaching a consistent entitlement for every child while respecting and celebrating each school’s individual context and identity.
