We are looking for a committed School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to join our friendly and supportive team as soon as possible.
You will be responsible for:
• Supervising and caring for the children during lunchtimes
• Interacting with children & ensuring that they are engaged in active, purposeful, positive and co-operative play
• Ensuring children are behaving appropriately and in line with the school’s behaviour policy at all times
• Being aware of and responding to Health & Safety issues promptly
• Being a strong, positive role model for the children and other staff
• Following the school’s policy and procedures on child protection and attending any relevant training
• Working with colleagues to set up and clear the dining hall
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
*Previous experience is not necessary but you must be willing and able to attend relevant training*

Hours of work will be 12.15-13.30, Monday to Friday (6.25 hours per week).
