We are seeking to increase leadership capacity across the trust as a whole and expect all of our Senior Leaders to contribute towards our shared trust development priorities as expert leaders. Role overview: Assistant Headteacher
In conjunction with the Headteacher, to lead the school with the support of the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring high quality teaching standards are maintained, pupils and staff are well supported and empowered, and resources are effectively and efficiently deployed.
The successful applicant will lead on a key area of development, i.e. SEND, Pastoral, Teaching and Learning, Personal Development, Outcomes etc. They will contribute significantly to the Quality Assurance and Continual Professional Development across the school. Our ideal candidate will be committed to evidence-based practice and continued research-informed development. They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in the school and with the trust central and executive school improvement leaders to ensure that MET students experience the very best a school can offer, as we strive towards becoming an Outstanding school.
