Nanpantan Hall Nurture Centre is an outstanding independent specialist provision for autistic students many of whom also experience associated Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs. Located on the outskirts of Loughborough, in a rural setting, the provision caters for primary aged pupil between the ages of 5 and 11 and we are looking for an exceptional and experienced person to join our team as a class teacher.

Nanpantan Hall Nurture Centre is more than a school, it is a support network for young people and their families which focuses on Laying the Foundation of Success. The Nurture Centre achieves this by prioritising the develop of a student’s self-awareness and self-management skills as a foundation for successful social interaction.
What you will need to succeed.
We are seeking an experienced primary school teacher who ideally has recent and relevant experience of working with pupils with additional needs. Having an interest and or knowledge of the teaching of physical education, forest school and or outdoor learning would be an advantage.
You should be an excellent team player and and take an active part of the school life, thrive on working in a challenging but immensely rewarding environment and be passionate about supporting the development of the social, life and independence skills for autistic pupils who have additional Social, Emotional Mental Health needs. You will truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
