I’m very pleased that you are finding out more about our college. I am confident we have the right course for you, which will help you to achieve your future career goals and ambitions.
We are the fourth largest college group in the UK with campuses across Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge, Epping Forest and Havering. Be assured though, that whilst we have increased in size and scale, we retain our strong local identities and our campuses in each borough, continuing to provide a strong choice of courses for our communities.
Throughout the year we hold a number of open days, welcome events and taster days at all of our campuses and I hope you will be able to come along and find out more about us and talk to our teachers and students. We are proud of all our students and the success they achieve and you will join a college that will support you and drive you at every stage so that you do achieve your very best.
If you are looking to go onto university, we send over 600 students a year, including many to Russell Group ones including Cambridge, UCL, King’s College and Queen Mary as well as others outside of London. If you are looking to progress to work instead, we have relationships with many leading businesses in London and have helped our students secure highly sought after apprenticeships in businesses like KPMG, Thomson Reuters, Accenture and Lyle and Scott.
I look forward to meeting you at one of our future events and in the meantime, please enjoy browsing our website, finding out about our courses and college culture and I do hope you will apply to study with us.
It will be the best decision you can make.

You will be joining a college that has undergone an exciting period of expansion, resulting in increased learning and progression opportunities for the communities of east London and south Essex.
New City College was created by the merger of Tower Hamlets College and Hackney Community College in August 2016 and then with Redbridge College in April 2017.
Epping Forest College, based in Loughton, south Essex, merged with the group in August 2018. In August 2019, the group merged with Havering Further Education College and Havering Sixth Form (known within the group as the Havering Colleges).
We are London’s second largest college with over 20,000 students and campuses sited in four east London boroughs and in south Essex.
Our Tower Hamlets campus achieved its highest ever results – 5% higher than national average.
At Tower Hamlets, our focus is on preparing and driving students forward to the next stage of their career journey. Whether that is to go to university or into work, our courses are designed to help students achieve their full potential.
Our campus has a strong reputation for university progression, with many students every year going onto university, including to the leading Russell Group members. Our departments have strong relationships with leading businesses in London. Previous students have secured apprenticeship roles in top companies such as KPMG, Accenture, Thompson Reuters and Goldman Sachs, and where they are now working full-time.
Our Epping Forest campus achievement rate is 13.6% higher than 2018. 16-18 results are 3.5% higher than national average, one of the fastest and best improvements of all colleges in the country.
Welcome to our Epping Forest campus, based in Loughton. Our campus is modern and spacious and very easy to get to by public transport. We are minutes away from the Central Line and popular bus routes.
We focus on teaching vocational courses at our Epping Forest campus, providing our students with the right mix of theory and practical learning to enhance their employability skills and career ambitions.
We are proud of our modern campus which offers students one of the very best learning environments, with modern classrooms, resources and technology and all focused on helping students progress into their chosen career path or onto further study at university.
Our Hackney campus achieved its best ever achievement rate in 2019 (well above the national average)
The Hackney campus is located in Hoxton, in a vibrant part of London close to business, design and technology hubs.
We are proud of our modern and spacious campus, minutes from the City of London and Tech City. Our students really love our campus, feel safe, and love studying with us. 94% of our students told us they were really pushed to achieve their best by their teachers.
Our Redbridge campus results are 7% higher than the national average for 16-18s.
Welcome to our Redbridge campuses. We have two campuses in Redbridge – at Chadwell Heath, near to the King George Hospital and at International House, in Ilford town centre.
Students at Redbridge can choose to study a range of vocational qualifications such as BTECs for instance. All of our courses are designed to prepare you for future careers and we have created a realistic business environment for 16-18s, which gives you the chance to work in college businesses, gaining real life experience of your chosen career pathway.
