New City College is very active in Construction and Building Services across the region and due to continued growth we require a Lecturer Electrical Installation.

£26,430 - £41,552 per annum

Ardleigh Green Campus

The successful candidate will need demonstrate experience in delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to Electrical learners from L2-L3. Due to the complex and technical nature of the Electrical learning programmes, applicants will need to have experience of teaching at L3 and have a firm understanding of current electrical practice.

Teaching / assessor experience would be an advantage but a passion for teaching your subject is the real qualification we are looking for.

With excellent communication and organisational skills, the candidate must be able to deliver effectively and engage students in their learning.

You must be highly flexible as we prefer someone who can teach practical and/or theory to 16-19 learners.

A commitment to student (and self) development and achievement is essential.

Our experienced team are looking for a teacher to motivate students, celebrate success and/ or reward targeted groups. Therefore, candidates must be passionate about working with and inspiring our students.
